This class is a slow, measured approach with emphasis on
alignment and breath. We will work with the intention to
understand and move with our living, breathing anatomy as we are
today at this moment! I teach from my 20 years experience with
Iyengar yoga alignment principles infused with the embodiment
principles of body mind centering as I've studied with my
teachers, Genny Kapuler and Rachel Lynch-John. My interest in
teaching is to bring awareness in each asana to enliven our
structure and find easeful support. Then we are able to settle the
the mind in the spaciousness of the body. Small class size allows for individualized attention.
The class is appropriate for beginning to intermediate
students. In 2021, I completed a foundational 200-hour teacher training with Heidi Fokine and other teachers through the Giving Room yoga studio in Southold NY.
